So much has happened in the few short weeks since Management Resources client Jonathan Fleming was exonerated and set free to begin his life anew. It’s so good to know that people are interested in the story, both from Mr. Fleming’s viewpoint, and the back story, our year-long investigation that led to uncovering the evidence needed to prove his innocence.
We have been privileged to talk with many of the major news outlets and journalists including, Diane Dimond, Beth Karas, David Lohr of Huffington Post, Dr. Laurie Roth on The Roth Show, and Donna Gore of Shattered Lives Radio among others. (Full media coverage)
The best evening in a long time was spent with “our people!” We were invited to speak about our investigative work in the Fleming case at the meeting of Associated Licensed Detectives Of New York State (ALDONYS) in White Plains, NY on April 30.
It was a grounding and humbling experience to be honored by those who work professionally in our field. After weeks of talking about the case to the general public, and often finding much of the story left out, we were embraced by the warmth of our fellow investigators, those who “get it” when it comes to understanding the long and many hours devoted to a case of wrongful conviction.
We’ve also recently been appointed as Founding Members and Regional Directors with Investigating Innocence, “a not-for-profit organization that provides investigative support to indigent inmates, lawyers and Innocence Projects throughout the United States who seek to prove post-conviction claims of actual innocence. “
Management Resources is committed to the long-term when it comes to investigating qualified cases of wrongful conviction. We’ve learned much about the issue from the Jonathan Fleming case and hope to provide the same level of service for others in a similar situation.
